Rootical Transformation has been a band that stands for unconditional love and the transformation of the consciousness. We try to pass this over through our music to the public. Our style is Deep Roots Rock Reggae.

End of September, begin October 2005 the 3 band members J.R.(an excellent musician who has music with the band Roots Revolution in Jamaica), Iyah and Ras Tula (former members from the well known band Rebel Souls where they left visible/hearable proof of their services!) joined back together.

They went on with the project they started months before that. Their music was almost finished but missed something, a lead-singer and there is where Ras Billy came in and completed the transformation. He was the former lead of the band Poor Man Friend. With the band completed they could bring “The Message” to the world with their new album 2012!

This album was released with success and their unstoppable since… they performed through The Netherlands, Germany & Belgium, like at one of the biggest summer festivals Polé Polé. This festival turned out to become a great success for the band.

After that they spend a lot of time to record a second album Holy Water in the studio from Rebel Junior. In 2009 they started off with performances at the summer festivals of Den Helder and Rastaplas Zoetermeer.
